The Doubrava Story

The story of the Doubrava's is quite fun, or so I think!

Brian and I went on our first date in November 2000. Yep, that means we started dating our junior year in high school. It has been a long, bumpy, fun, and loving ride. We tried seeing The Grinch Who Stole Christmas at the movie theater in the mall, but it was sold out. So, we ended up going to dinner at McSalty's and then meeting up with our friends later. So sweet! :) And that was just the beginning of our life together.

First Date: November 2000
Engagement: August 2005
Both Graduated from Mizzou: May 2006
Brian gets job at MoDot: June 2006
First House: June 2006 (oops, we lived in sin)
Nancy gets job at US Bank: July 2006
Wedding: November 2006
Nancy starts graduate school: August 2007
Nancy gets job as School Counselor at Purdy: August 2009
Nancy graduates from Missouri State University with Master's: December 2009
We get our little love dog DORI MARIE: March 2010
We find out we are expecting Baby D: August 2011
Nancy gets job as Secondary Counselor at OTC: August 2011
We find out Baby D is a BOY!: November 2011
