Declan Grayson-6 months

Late again...Story of my life! :)

Weight: Declan is 16 pounds 7 ounces and 26 inches long.  He is still in the 25th percentile.  Doctor is happy though, he is a growing boy!

Clothes: Declan is moving up in the world.  We into size 6-9 month clothing and now into size 3 diapers!

Food: Declan is still my little pig!  He still eats every 3 hours. Declan is now getting cereal in the morning!  He did not like rice cereal, so we tried oatmeal.  Declan loves the oatmeal.  He eats so much better for the girls at school, but not Brian and I.  Typical child, I suppose.

Sleep:  Sleep is still going good.  Declan got sick in mid September, so he woke up a couple of times due to not feeling well.  We are back at a good nights rest though. (knock on wood)

Activity: Declan is doing so much!!! He still likes his activity mat, swing, activity jumper, sitting up all by himself, reaches for everything, loves playing with my necklace, and loves going on walks.

Personality: Declan has quite the personality.  He is honestly such a sweet boy!  The ladies at school fight over him.  It truly melts my heart.  I couldn't ask for better ladies to take care of my boy.  Declan loves to STARE! HA! Cracks me up because I do, too!  Declan is somber when he is tired and just looks around.  Declan is such a blessing. 

Likes:

~ likes his pacifier for naps
~ likes watching the kids at daycare
~ likes his activity jumper
~ likes sitting up by himself
~ likes to be walked around
~ likes to go for walks/runs

Dislikes:

~ does not like being hungry.
~does not like being sleepy
~does not like his ears hurting
~does not like teething!

6 Month Milestones:

~first ear infection: September 12

~first trip to Branson as a family: September 15-16

~got his first rash/hives on September 19 (So scary!) 

~sat up by himself for long periods of time: week of September 17

~first TOOTH (Bottom): September 19

~second TOOTH (Bottom): September 26
