Declan Grayson~5 months

I am late again on this post.  Life has just been so busy lately.  We have been really enjoying our family time. :)

Weight: Declan got weighed on August 29th and weighed in a 15 pounds 2 ounces.  He is a growing boy!

Clothes: Declan is moving up in the world.  We are now into size 6-9 month clothing and is still wearing size 2 diapers.

Food: Declan is still my little pig!  He still eats every 3 hours. Declan has made it 5 1/2 months on strictly breast milk with the occasional formula supplement.  I am very proud that we have made it this long.  Declan is a good eater which takes about 30+ minutes each time he nurses.  It has been my personal goal to make it 6 months of breastfeeding and we have almost made it.  My next goal is to make it to 9 months.  We may be trying cereal tonight!

Sleep:  Sleep is going well!! Declan has been waking up around 6 AM to eat.  He has been staying up for a little bit, but then goes back to sleep.  He still continues to do this at day care, too!

Activity: Declan is doing so much!!! He still likes his activity mat, swing, activity jumper, bumbo, loves to be walked around, and he now enjoys tummy time! 

Personality: Declan is talking up a storm. He likes to squeal and talk!! He definitely keeps us entertained.

Likes:

~ likes his pacifier for naps

~ likes to go for walks/runs

Dislikes:

~ does not like being hungry.
~does not like being sleepy

Five Month Milestones:

~Declan started going to daycare on August 6.  Declan LOVES it!! He is always so happy when I drop him off and pick him up.  The ladies that take care of Declan are truly a blessing.  They love on him so much. 
~Declan has been going to a lot of family and friend events this past month.  We have been celebrating the last month of summer. :)
